Lee Isenberg
Lee Isenberg (Artistic Director) has over 28 years theatre teaching and directing experience. She has taught and directed youth theatre productions at the Beachwood Children’s Theatre Company, Thomas Starr King FAM Magnet, USC VAPA Magnet, Art Theatre Entertainment High School, California State University, Northridge, and the Green Room Theatre. She was the Theatre Advisor for Los Angeles Unified School District in which she wrote and received playwriting grants for schools throughout the district. Lee was the recipient of the Los Angeles Robby Award for her production of My Children! My Africa! and was honored with a Teacher of the Year Award by the Education Consortium of Central Los Angeles. She has a Masters Degree in Theatre and a Masters Degree in Education Leadership Administration. Recently directed productions include: The Outsiders, Number the Stars, The Crucible, The Seussification of Romeo and Juliet, You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown, 13: The Musical, Mary Poppins, Oliver, Fiddler on the Roof, The Giver, and The Ice Wolf.
